A two-storey glass extension was added to the back of the home, designed to open the living space to the backyard and allow natural light to flood into previously dark, crowded interiors. Though the original home remained untouched, the transformation in functionality and flow is unmistakable.
The upper level of the addition provides a tranquil sitting area with floor-to-ceiling views of the beautifully landscaped yard and a space to showcase the family’s piano. Below, the lower level features a cozy fireside lounge, seamlessly integrated into the garden setting. The result is a quiet, modern retreat that enhances daily living while preserving the charm of the original home.
